Erik Morales returns from a three year retirement on March 27 against Jose Alfaro. Morales, the last man to defeat Manny Pacquiao, made his post-Alfaro fight plans clear in the following press release, mentioning names such as Manny Pacquiao and Juan Manuel Marquez.

Some time ago, long before Toney was making his intentions known, the world class and world renowned Ricardo Mayorga and Shine Fights matchmaker Ron Foster sat down and made a deal. That deal was to bring Mayorga over to MMA and see what he could do.
Tim Bradley, the top-rated light welterweight in the world, will return to the ring on June 26 to face Luis Carlos Abregu. And for the first time in his career, Bradley will be fighting on HBO. Showtime had televised his last five bouts.
The move to HBO is more significant news than Bradley’s opponent. While Luis Carlos Abregu is undefeated at 29-0 (23 KOs), he is not seen as a threat to Bradley’s title. Abregu is not ranked in the Ring Magazine top ten light welterweights.
HBO opens more doors for Bradley, 23-0 (11 KOs), to get bigger names in the light welterweight division. With Amir Khan, Victor Ortiz, Paulie Malignaggi, and Nate Campbell all fighting on HBO in May, Bradley has an easier path to those fighters.

With that said, here are five things I learned from Saturday night’s pay-per-view “event”.
A re-injured knee has forced Andre Ward to postpone his Super Six bout against Allan Green until the summer.

The bout was pretty much fought at the same pace throughout with Pacquiao (51-3-2, 38 KOs) darting in and throwing quick shots at a Joshua Clottey (35-4, 20 KOs) who seemed more than content to block those shots with hands held high while throwing nothing in return.
Jose Luis Castillo has declared his intentions to retire after a one-sided drubbing at the hands of Alfonso Gomez.
