I hope you are right about Silva moving to LHW on a permanent basis. I am starting to become boggled by the UFC keeping him at MW.

Jeremy, its Todd. Great stuff. I picked some that were on the lists. As usual, my perspective left me out in left field on a few as well. Great list. This was fun.

As for the site, the new look is great. Go Inside Fights '09. Here is to a great new year of MMA and coverage sir. Take care.

I feel bad for the fighters involved here. They arent making millions of dollars in the sport so being out of commission for this long is hard on them. It also sucks that fans are being deprived of seeing greats fighters like Carano, Shields, and Lawler do their thing.

Overeem would be a great addition to the HW division of the UFC. Although I think he has some great fights available to him outside of the UFC: a rubber match with Sergei, a rematch with Werdum, and a potential superfight with Fedor (if he beats Arlovski).

Well, Liddell is training with a real camp now, so you can expect to see a much different style whenever he fights again. No more leaving the hands down and waiting for the knockout while exposing his face -- I suspect he'll be much more guarded than he usually is.

Okami certainly isn't exciting, but he's on a roll and he's as good of a contender as they have available in that division because there aren't too many exciting fighters or big PPV draws. I'm wondering if they'll play up his "victory" over Silva in the build-up for the fight.

Of course, there's a good chance that fight won't even happen, because I can't imagine that Silva stays in the middleweight division past the Leites fight. I'm still shocked they even booked that fight instead of moving him to light heavyweight on a permanent basis.
