Alistair Overeem Charged with Battery after UFC 141 Incident

Coming off a first round TKO victory over Brock Lesnar at UFC 141, UFC heavyweight Alistair Overeem has been charged with misdemeanor battery due to an encounter at Wynn Las Vegas over the New Year’s weekend.

Overeem has been cited for shoving a woman in the face that weekend and is scheduled to appear on February 21st. He faces six months and a $1,000 fine.
