Urijah Faber goes above and beyond as an exciting mixed martial arts fighter AND as a loving brother.

On Black Friday weekend, Michaella Tastad (Urijah Faber’s sister) was involved in a car accident that put her in a coma. Urijah was very public about the situation and updated his Twitter account with health updates about his sister throughout her recovery. While Michaella eventually did come out of her coma, it was revealed that she had brain surgery as well.

It is almost always mandatory for the patient’s head to be shaved in order for the surgeons to perform a brain surgery. In support of his sister, Urijah Faber chopped off his famous golden locks.
