Oscar De La Hoya signed two former world champions to his Golden Boy Promotions stable. Sergio Mora, former light middleweight champion and Contender winner, was signed by De La Hoya in addition to Nate Campbell. Mora has not fought since 2008, when he lost a championship rematch to Vernon Forrest. Campbell is a former lightweight champion who fought to a No Contest in his last fight against Tim Bradley.
