Winky Wright was scheduled to face Grady Brewer on Dec 11 in the main event of a pay-per-view card but that has now been canceled. Co-promoter San Juan City Knockout withdrew its support for the fight causing the cancellation.

Wright was disappointed to hear the news but hopes to get another fight signed for the early part of 2010. After that, Wright wants a piece of middleweight champion Kelly Pavlik.
