All fighters made weight on the first go on the scales.

There was a big crowd at the Manchester Evening News Arena to see the weigh-ins. As expected the British fighters all got a big reaction although nothing to compare the roar with which the crowd greeted the arrival of Randy ‘The Natural’ Couture. On the whole the non-British fighters were treated respectfully although both Mike Swick and Dennis Kang were booed by the crowd. Before the weigh-ins there was a fun Fight Club Q & A session with George St. Pierre. Although he didn’t say anything that you wouldn’t have heard before he just came across as such a class act, and was incredibly smooth with his answers to a wide range of questions.
