Judah, Casamayor Return With Wins
By Trent Pusey - November 7, 2009 | Email the author

Zab Judah defeated Ubaldo Hernandez by TKO at 35 seconds of the 2nd round at the Palms Casino in Las Vegas earlier tonight. Judah had been away from the ring for a year. Injuries during training and bathroom accidents (not those kind) kept Judah away and ruined his chances at a fight with Shane Mosley. Judah improved to 38-6 (26 KOs) with the win.

Also victorious in his return to the ring after a year-long layoff was Joel Casamayor. Casamayor was a former world champion at 130 and 135 pounds. Joel came in at 146 pounds for this fight with Jason Davis. Casamayor used his experience to outbox Jason Davis en route to an eight-round unanimous decision. Casamayor moved to 37-4-1 (22 KOs) with the win.
