Juan Diaz and Paulie Malignaggi will fight each other on December 12 in a rematch of a controversial fight between the two in August. Diaz was awarded a unanimous decision, just as Paulie Malignaggi had predicted would happen. Malignaggi thought he would be robbed by Golden Boy’s hand-picked judges and he let the expletives fly in a post-fight interview with HBO’s Max Kellerman.

The two will fight in Chicago, IL. This should appease Malignaggi as a point of contention in their first fight was the hometown treatment given to Juan Diaz.

The fight will be broadcast on HBO and will also feature and undercard bout between Victor Ortiz and Antonio Diaz.
