Baroni vs. Sadollah slated for UFC 106
by Jeremy Botter on September 1, 2009

Inside Fights has learned from sources close to both camps that Phil Baroni is scheduled to make his return to the Octagon against former Ultimate Fighter winner Amir Sadollah at UFC 106.

Baroni last fought in the Octagon on the February 5, 2005 UFC 51 card, losing to Pete Sell by submission. Baroni, long considered one of the most entertaining and charismatic fighters in the sport, recently agreed to return to the UFC after leaving Strikeforce.

Sadollah lost to Johnny Hendricks in a controversial fight at UFC 101 last month.

UFC 106 also features a heavyweight championship bout between Brock Lesnar and Shane Carwin as well as the return of Tito Ortiz to the UFC as he faces Mark Coleman.
