The much-anticipated press conference for Carano vs. Cyborg will take place today from Madison Square Garden in New York City. I previously talked about the fight, and while I won’t change my position from the previous post about the fight not even being remotely as big as UFC 100, I will say that I do understand the appeal of having the press conference in the media capital of the world. I’m not sure if Strikeforce is planning on doing a press conference in California as well, but if they are, then this New York press conference is harmless.

The press conference starts at 2:30pm ET and will be streamed live on the Strikeforce website. We’ll have news and notes available after the conclusion if you miss it.
