As Inside Fights first reported here on June 23, Rich Franklin is expected to take part in the UFC 103 card on September 19, 299 from Dallas.

Three opponents were given to Franklin last week and he’s been given the chance to pick his opponent. Franklin did not want to fight in September, but Zuffa is out of headliners for the September show and doesn’t expect any title holders to make a quick turn around and fight again.

• Rafael dos Anjos vs. Matt Wiman
