UFC 100: Lesnar trains grappling, striking
by Jeremy Botter on July 7, 2009

Here are two videos of Brock Lesnar training, courtesy of DeathClutch.

I think the major takeaway from both of these videos is that we’re seeing Lesnar do things here that he hasn’t been able to do in the past. When he has his trainer’s back, he actually has the hooks in, whereas in his past fights he seemed unsure of what to do with himself in that position. And it may be only a training session, but he shows some nice submission work in the first video with a kimura and an armbar. I’m not saying he’s going to be able to submit Frank Mir, but it at least shows that Lesnar is accumulating knowledge at a rapid pace.
