TUF 10 Gets Subtitle
The tenth season of The Ultimate Fighter will be called “The Ultimate Fighter: The Heavyweights”. It will premiere September 16, 2009 at 10PM ET.
It will be the first time in the history of the show that heavyweights have been exclusively featured. We don’t have a roster list at this time, but former Texas Tech lineman Rex Richards has been rumored to be involved in the show. The initial cast will feature 16 people, so they are doing away with the concept of having to fight your way into the house.

Where is Bobby Lashley? He would have been instant ratings. Should have invited him before he started to headline smaller promotions and continue to win.
Dana says there are a few surprises still to be announced about the show, but I’d be surprised if Lashley is involved. If he’s serious about making it in mixed martial arts, he’d go on the show, but he may think he’s too big of a star to do it. If that’s the case, it’s a shame.

Hopefully they can pull some more HW stars.. at least one or two possible contenders from this group.
